Youth Ministry

Come live it out with us!

Living it out: It all starts with a place of acceptance and a sense of belonging. From there, Youth Ministry becomes something much bigger. FBC students are challenged to grow in their relationship with God and to be part of God’s work as they engage in the lives of others.

Through holistic ministry of Bible study, fellowship, service, and worship, youth and their families are enabled to take what they learn and encouraged to strive to live it out.

Youth Activities

Bible Study: “God’s Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path,” Psalm 119:105. Students engage in lessons that strengthen them in their relationship with God and challenge them to apply biblical principles to their everyday life. Students have opportunities for Bible study Sundays and Wednesdays each week.

Service: Joining God at work in our community, the youth ministry takes on at least one local service project each month such as volunteering at local soup kitchens, Helping Hands, Clemson Community Care, and VBS.

Mission: Each summer, high school and middle school groups embark on a week-long mission journey nationally or internationally.

Fellowship: Building community and developing friendships, monthly fellowships such as cook outs, putt-putt, and rock climbing, weekend retreats such as back-to-school, skiing, and lock-ins are a few of the highlights of youth fun.

Music: Students are encouraged to share their gifts in worship leadership through singing and playing instruments.
